I use it to store the honey syrup that I make. The container and base are make out of glass, but the top is made out of hard plastic with a chrome finish. The plastic top seems very durable and is rather not have metal (could get rusty). Only issue I have is that it’s a little awkward to fill. You have to put your finger on the hole at the bottom while filling to keep the honey from coming out before you put the top on.

I gave it 4 stars because, the handle/lid and the plug lever is all plastic. I’m sure in today’s day and age, a form of non toxic metal could have been used? Which would have increased the price, but it would be well worth it. Filling it up is tricky. I had to plug the bottom of the dispenser with a finger so the honey doesn’t just pour out. The hot water in the cup, will make the honey easy to pour/dispense so be careful! I’m used to using your typical wooden honey stick to get my honey, so it was easier to see how much you’re putting in. This dispenser is deceiving on how much you’re getting, the hot water makes it “worse”. I’m sure with frequent use, I’ll get used it.This honey dispenser is beautiful and elegant. The top looks like honeycomb and it dispenses soo easily, quickly and mess free. The glass is thick and well made. It was a gift and I love it!

I love this, saw one being used for honey samples at a farmers market and had to have it. Fit an entire 6oz jar with room to spare! Can’t wait to start using for my morning tea!

I like the dispenser. No more sticky fingers. Tip, when filling it I use small piece of ‘press-n-seal’ at the bottom so no honey sneaks out. Works great!

The top is plastic which sucks but it works great. It only gives half a teaspoon (a drop) at a time and 3 drops is what I take in my tea

Bought this as a gift for my uncle to keep honey off the countertop when he makes his coffee. A week after Christmas I stopped by and noticed the bottom is full of honey that has slowly leaked while it sat. BUT there are no honey spots so it does the job *update* turns out the leak was user error!
