While not important the bright color helps me locate this cute empanada maker wherever I misplace it.I am not a cook so I appreciate every tool that helps me finish my cooking duties fast. At first it took me a little while to determine the correct texture of the dough but now it’s just a breeze to prepare, press, and air fry.

This gadget makes dumplings or empanadas! I use them all the time.

I used this device to make dumplings, from a prepared wonton skin. I cannot judge the press quality of the device, but I think it would work best for thicker doughs, such as raviolis, or other stuffed pastas, as I cannot see the plastic holding up to the pressure needed to get a really thin sheet of dough. Possibly a stuffed pie dough would work.The shaper worked well, as long as it was not overfilled. It made a nice crimp, and sealed well when brushed with water. I baked my dumplings, and the filling remained intact.

I like this product but I wish that it was bigger to make larger dumplings with more filling. I like that it is convenient and easier for kids to use. It is easy to clean but like I said I wish it could make bigger dumplings.
