I purchased this to slice our bananas to freeze for freeze drying later. We had been throwing out our over-ripe bananas over the years which was too wasteful. Now I slice and freeze them and Freeze dry them when I have enough for a batch. After freeze drying they make a great snack, or can be powdered for smoothies.

This slices bananas great! Cucumbers seem to be a little too tough for it. I’ve yet to try strawberries, but it seems like a ripe strawberry will work also.
