I’m glad there are two of them so my wife could help me make Crab Rangoons. We bought wonton wrappers, so sadly, I cannot give an honest opinion for the press portion of this device, but the ravioli/dumpling making portion of this device works pretty well. It will take a couple tries to get technique down; it’s not entirely idiot-proof. I’ll let you figure out your own technique, but it is fairly easy to use and works well; young children should even be able to use this with only a small amount of instruction. Comes with tiny spatulas for filling and optional hanger that snaps into place.

If you’re using a fairly soft, non-sticky, room temp. dough, you’ll probably have pretty good results. Otherwise, you might have a few issues, including it coming apart.

These work amazing for making bite size hand pies. The wife and I made about 30 bite size apple pies. These are made with quality materials so I can see them lasting for some time. Really like the hanging option at the top of the device, this is the way we store ours.

Kids are not always willing to help in the kitchen but if you provide them with fun tools like these, well that’s just a whole different ball game. We adults have to be very patient when kids are in the kitchen because, well, they make messes and generally don’t clean up after themselves. So, being the Grandparent, I found this to be a fun distraction while I made my dumplings by hand. We all had fun (for a while anyway) and it wasn’t really that big if a mess.
